PSA K-Mask – FFP2 Cup

The PSA K-Mask – FFP2 Cup (17FFP2-K2MASK) is a respiratory mask that is suitable for environments with moderate levels of fine dust and other non-oil-based particles. Commonly used in the construction, pharmaceutical, and agricultural sectors. As a FFP2, it is designed to be fluid resistant to splash and spatter of blood and other infectious materials. The K-Mask respirator is part of personal protective equipment (PP) that is primarily intended to protect the wearer by reducing exposure to harmful airborne particles which are small enough to be inhaled- typically particles less than 100 microns in size. These include airborne particles and or material e.g. Bacillus anthracis, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, mould and the virus that causes severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), Influenza and dust

Intended Usage

  • The need for the mask to be use depends on the contaminants. The user will recognize when to change by smell, taste and difficulty in breathing or by irritation to the respiratory tracts.
  • The ambient air must contain at least 17% oxygen by volume.
  • Face mask do not provide protection against gases vapours and fumes.

Do Not Use for

  • Do not use in explosive atmospheres
  • Do not use for firefighting

Warnings

  • The high protection masks are not intended for reuse and shall be discarded after each procedure. Check your masks production date
  • Always follow the instructions for use to ensure mask is properly sealed
  • Not recommended for children under the age of 3
  • Replace the mask when it becomes dirty, damaged, or difficult to breathe through

Shelf Life & Storage

  • Batch tested done on site
  • Store masks in the original packaging, away from contaminated area, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals
  • Store in temperatures between -20°C and +30°C and not exceeding 80% humidity
