Cairns® XF1 Fire Helmet

The Cairns® XF1 Fire Helmet combines advanced protection, comfort and integrated technology in a modern jet-style helmet designed for structural firefighting and rescue operations.

Its contoured, brimless design helps reduce snag hazards while providing a secure, personalised fit for a wide range of firefighters. The helmet can incorporate integrated front and side lighting, improving visibility and situational awareness in dark, smoke-filled and demanding emergency environments. Optional integrated communications place the headset inside the helmet without compromising wearer comfort, helping crews remain connected during critical operations.

A key advantage of the XF1 is its focus on cleanability and maintenance. The helmet’s soft goods can be removed, washed, replaced and reinstalled, helping departments manage contamination and maintain equipment between incidents. PSA also notes that the contoured design is engineered to comfortably fit 99% of firefighters.

The available face and eye protection options are designed to maintain a wide field of vision, with anti-fog and anti-scratch features. An optional secondary ocular visor can be deployed while wearing gloves and retracts neatly into the helmet when it is not required.
